Privacy policy
1. Who we are
AMZ by DigitEMB is a service of DigitEMB, 9138 Lefferts Blvd, Richmond Hill, NY 11418, USA. Questions about this policy go to support@digitemb.com.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, e-mail address, company and the kind of seller you are, as given on your invitation.
- Sign-in records: the time, the IP address and the browser of each sign-in and each code request, kept for security.
- Use of the workspace: which screens you open and when, and the feedback you type, so we can improve the service.
- Your seller data (next stages): the reports you upload, and, once you connect your Amazon accounts, the sales, fee, inventory, advertising and search data Amazon returns for your accounts. We do not request buyer names, addresses or e-mail addresses from Amazon.
3. Why we use it
Only to run the service for you: to sign you in, to show your screens, to answer your questions and to keep the service safe. We do not sell your data, do not show one seller's data to another seller, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train models without a separate opt-in from you.
4. Who processes it for us
We use a hosting provider to run the service, Cloudflare to handle web traffic, and Amazon Web Services for email delivery. Public pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives browser requests when those fonts load. Seller and advertising API connections are planned; they are not active in the current pilot.
5. Where it is stored and how it is protected
In our own database for this service, separate from DigitEMB's other systems. Traffic is encrypted in transit. The current pilot does not collect Amazon access tokens. Before account connections are introduced, token encryption and controls preventing tokens from appearing in browser output or logs must be implemented. Authorized DigitEMB pilot administrators can review accounts, sign-in activity, screen usage and feedback to operate the pilot.
Sign-in cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. The session expires after 14 days; signing out ends the session. This cookie is needed for the private workspace.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as your workspace exists. Sign-in records are kept for 12 months. When you disconnect an Amazon account its data is deleted within 30 days; when you ask us to delete your workspace, everything is deleted within 7 days.
7. Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, exported or deleted, and withdraw an Amazon connection at any time, by writing to support@digitemb.com from your workspace e-mail address.
8. Amazon data
The current pilot does not receive data through Amazon’s Selling Partner API or Amazon Ads API. Before these planned connections are offered, the integration must meet the applicable Amazon policies and receive the required approval. Connected data will be used only to serve the seller it belongs to.
9. Changes
We will post changes on this page with a new version number and date, and tell you by e-mail when a change affects your rights.
